Blue Peter eat your heart out!
The design and development of the journal construction went through various process alterations until I arrived at a satisfactory, functional, yet attractive solution.
The insides are made of different coloured card to correspond with the racing colours worn by jockeys. The pages are stuck along one edge and fold like a concertina or accordion. It can be closed and tied at one side and used like a book or opened out to display the entire timeline.
Layout, cutting and cropping, placement, order were all as important as each. You will see below this has been no mean feat.
